There's something wistfully exquisite about existence.
Mortality is outlandish; We’ll all be far longer dead than ever alive. And one life is not enough; It’s haunting, forgetfully wonderful.
A single lifetime isn’t enough to do all the things we want, discover all the places we wish to visit, become all the variances of people we aspire to be, experience all the cultures that compel us, explore all the lifestyles we imagine living, pursue all the careers that intrigue us, and speak all the languages we desire.
However, books, shows, paintings, movies, photographs, games, art… Stories, all allow us to escape into all that is extraordinary beyond our lives, sometimes as if they were our own. They leave us breathless, in tears, laughing, pensive, with gratitude, loving the kaleidoscope of our collective perspicacity, both past and present.
Storytelling—in whatever medium—is powerful, influential, inspirational, and lasting.
I love telling stories.
And thrive in presence…to the point of losing track of time.
These time-traveling instances are where my stories often emerge.
And it is in these stories where who I am remains clandestine. In the culmination of my years I’ve realized this; I am nothing. And storytelling is my weapon.
As a writer, your creative alchemy provides magical journeys of the heart, mind and soul.
We may not have enough time in life to live up to our great expectations, but we can live everyday with passion and purpose.
